Each year on Juneteenth, we give away brand new books to children in Leslie's honor — continuing his legacy of opening doors through education.
Leslie Stallworth would be 103 years old on Juneteenth 2024. In honor of his passionate belief that a solid education gives young people the best chance to fully develop their skills and become creative, morally sound, productive, and self-sufficient members of our community — we give books.
Help us sow the enlightening seeds of literacy throughout our community by donating a brand new book for this awesome occasion. Please stop by on Juneteenth and let us know you're a book donor to receive a special gift, while supplies last!
